Looks good! This is something I think is very much needed. The 24-hr (or
so) delay is probably a good safety valve, for that matter :-)

One thought: Maybe when we (finally!) mark releases, you can keep the
last couple of point releases as well as the nightlys.

Thanks for getting this in place, I'll make sure the doc and Wiki
mention it!
