debugging model output

hi,

i hope i haven't overlooked something, but in order to 'debug' model 
outputs it would be nice to have sort of an xml view of the model like 
in our beloved expresso ;) but i am open to any other solution than 
try-and-error...

i think of something like 
http://localhost/default/model.do?model=mymodel&view=xml

while it must be possible to disable it ofcourse :)
