Here is the code where I am using PDFReader.

        PdfReader reader = null; 
        try { 
            reader = new PdfReader(pdfToRead);         
            totalPages = getTotalPages(reader); 
            writeCount = readThroughPdf(reader, totalPages);            
         } catch (IOException e) { 
            e.printStackTrace(); 
        } finally { 
        reader.close(); 
        }   
        
 } 

The server  is Windows Server 2008 Standard R2 x64 SP1

This means that iText attempted to memory map the file, and it failed.

Can you please post your code that you used to construct the PDFReader?

What operating system is the server?
