That would surprise me. See it as an envelope: HTTPS puts the signed file in an envelope without changing the files. When the envelope is received the original file is taken from the envelope. Normally, no bytes are changed in the process. In your case, bytes were changed (otherwise the signature wouldn't be invalid).
