Michael, thanks for your prompt response.
I've already adopted an anonymous wrapper instance of BufferedInputStream
that override the *close* method.
What is confusing me is the JavaDoc sentence in PdfReader class:
/**
* Reads and parses a PDF document.
* @param is the <CODE>InputStream</CODE> containing the document. The
stream is read to the
* end but is not closed
* @throws IOException on error
*/
But now you confirm me that this is a correct work-around.
