hi all

has anyone successfully created text highlight annotation appearance
stream? if so, please share?

it looks like text highlight appearance stream is different from underline
and even strike-through where we can draw lines directly on the
pdfAppearance object itself

for highlight, pdfAppearance.rectangle() does not work. There looks to be
2-3 levels deep of dictionaries involved for this kind of annotation's
appearance stream (correct me if i'm wrong).

plus, there's that curved side

please advise
