blackdown installation problems

Hi,
I've just installed blackdown java on my h3970 ipaq. There were a couple of
errors during the installation. When the jre had been installed 'SIGSEGV'
was output to the terminal. Is this normal? When I installed the add package
I got the message:
~ # ipkg install
http://www.tml.hut.fi/~jsantala/feed/blackdown-add_1.3.1_arm.ip
k

ERROR: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for blackdown-add:
         libxt

Will this cause any problems when I'm trying to compile and run programs?
And also when I tried to install the library libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2 I got
the following message:
ipkg install http://familiar.handhelds.org/familiar/feeds/stable/packages/ar
mv4l/libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2_2.95.4-0.010407-fam1_arm.ipk
wget: server returned error 404: HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found
ipkg_download: ERROR: Command failed with return value 1: `wget

table/packages/armv4l/libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2_2.95.4-0.010407-fam1_arm.ipk'
Cannot find package
http://familiar.handhelds.org/familiar/feeds/stable/packages
/armv4l/libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2_2.95.4-0.010407-fam1_arm.ipk.
Check the spelling or perhaps run 'ipkg update'

Is this particular package not available anymore? Or has it been moved? I
ran ipkg update and no change. I need this package as the reason for me
installing Java is that I want to be able to run Swing programs on the iPaq.

Also I'm very new to Linux and was wondering if there's a link to any site
that might have information on how to get started with Java on the iPaq,
e.g. how to compile and run programs etc.

Thanks,
Julie
