  I think a good case study for Maven in action
managing dependencies is Groovy and the Codehaus
project. See http://dist.codehaus.org/groovy/jars or
http://dist.codehaus.org for example.

  Unfortunately, I'm not a Maven expert so I don't
know if we can setup a jar repository using the
sourceforge website. Also as far as I know it's
totally allowed for developers to use the website for
daily build downloads instead of going through the
sourceforge file release system.
