Hi Gerald,

Recently I passed by Sun web start site and I noticed
they had a web start developper kit. In this kit they
have a WAR (web archive) package that you can deploy
in a tomcat. It automaticaly place the time stamp as
well as the web site base url in the jnlp file, making
a jnlp file "portable".
I think it may be a good thing to incorporate this
concept (with tomcat or your home made web server) to
allow user to automatically web start the ramses
examples, instead of requiring them to modify by hand
the jnlp files.
It is not a new technological breakthrough, but I
think it might be a good thing.

Comments welcomed ! :-)

Cheers,

Denis
