  I haven't thought about a GUI yet. However, you are
more than welcome to create a GUI version that lets
you pick the chrome directory. You could also add a
refresh button and reload the chrome (see the Luxor
Sandbox aka Sahara and how to do this). You can also
use Luxor itself to build the GUI for Luxilla (e.g.
menu, toolbar and so on) and use two XUL motors in
parallel (again see the Sahara project on how to do
this). Any contributions are welcome.

  I also hope to have a Luxilla only site up and
running in a couple of days so Luxilla doesn't get
overshadowed by all the other packages.
