Seminar Paper: The New Java GUI Alternatives

  Amro Kudssi a student at DePaul University in
Chicago has written a seminar paper entitled "The New
Java GUI Alternatives" online @

  The paper covers Swing/AWT, Thinlets (aka XUL), the
Zaval Light-Weight Visual Component Library and the
Standard Widget Toolkit (SWT).

 Here's what Amro says about ease of use (aka
programmability):

the programmability with an exception of Thinlet. From
programmer point of view I found out Thinlet is the
easiest library to use. You just need to describe your
GUI in a XML file and handle in the event handlers in
the Java class.
