Welcome Werner to the wonders of XUL. I know that the Luxor docu needs to get much better, especially a "Getting Started Guide" and an extensive FAQ would help a lot. I will work on a better FAQ once I'm back in my office (in mid-May). To start using XML to build UIs I usually suggest starting with Thinlet or Swix instead of Luxor because their setup is much easier. You can find links in the Richmond Post Link-opida @ http://luxor-xul.sourceforge.net/post/links.html Also to get started you might use Luxilla - Luxor's Java code-free XUL browser. Get the luxor-browser and luxor-libs package to get started. Also if you speak German I invite you to check out the links in the German Luxor mailing list to two excellent online tutorials in German (one was printed in the Linux Magazin a while ago). - Gerald ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf
