Hi Michael, I agree with you Michael. The thing I like most about Xul is that you can easily layout your widgets, create and integrate new ones, and set up parameters just as easy as in html. Another great thing about XUL on the long run, I think, is that it could be a standard for graphical GUI builders, and it would avoid the "Don't touch this part of the code or everything will get screwed up" javadoc comments. :-) Cheers, Denis --- Michael Finney <[email protected]> wrote: > It seems like in my Application GUI work through the > years, > custom/tweaked Java components always are required. > > Even if a person is required to make a custom > component, the benefits > of XUL are: > o easier layout (than say GridBagLayout) > o easy to change the attributes > o ..... others? > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.net email is sponsored by: eBay > Get office equipment for less on eBay! > http://adfarm.mediaplex.com/ad/ck/711-11697-6916-5 > _______________________________________________ > luxor-xul-user mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/luxor-xul-user ===== ========================= |Denis Cardon, Tranquil I.T.
