First, I haven't tried building an executable using
GCJ yet so I can't really offer any tips.

Second, yes you can get all the sources.

Everything with the exception of the Luxor SWT
package is checked into the CVS repositories at
sourceforge. (The source for the Luxor SWT Beta 9 Pre
is bundled with the download package).

I will check in the Luxor SWT sources once the
directory structure is more stable.

To get the sources for houston, caramel, etc. use
the CVS repository at the ajax site @
http://ajax.sourceforge.net

The Rachel toolkit has its own site and CVS
repository @ http://rachel.sourceforge.net

I assume so too. Let me know how it all works out.
