Menu and Tool bar question

Hello everybody...

I'm newbie using Luxor  ver. 1.0-b8.
I made a small application with two objects: a menu (menu.xul) and a tool 
bar (toolbar.xul with 20 buttons).
I've the following question:

How can I personalize the height and width of the tool bar buttons?. They 
display to big.
The tool bar object accepts only buttons?. Can I display for example a 
display item, or a picture item?
How can I disable menu items in the menu bar, at the startup of the 
application?.
I need that certain  menu items use a Function Key (F1 to F10) like a 
accelerator key, instead of Ctrl, Alt or Shift.
