   Well, I doubt if Luxor for SWT runs out-of-the-box
on J9. You might have to fix up some code. I have
never tried to run Luxor on IBM's J9 so I can't tell
you a definite answer.

   I know for sure that Thinlet runs on IBM's J9 but
it uses AWT only.

   Let us know if you try out Luxor on J9 and how it
goes.
