Denis is no longer interested in Luxor and thus the calculator example is no longer updated or maintainted. As far as I can remember I have checked in the latest version into CVS. See http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/luxor-xul/luxor-contrib/calculator If you're interested in updating the calculator sample, you're more than welcome.
