RE: readonly

Why do you just use label ( <html:label> ) inside your jsp to control
read only field? Actually, text filed are editable (in the common use).

My code:
isReadOnly = "\"true\""
<html:text property="firstName" readonly=<%=isReadOnly%>/>

Problem: It does not translate html:text. As a result ViewSource gives:

<html:text property="firstName" readonly="true" />
