This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --------------070901020608030703060002 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit The idea is that the mail list and newsgroups will be replaced by the online forum. But the online forum has bugs, so I removed everyone, added them to the mail list, and asked them to test signing up. So one day there will be 0 mail! But as I test membership management..... I need a way to tell people I removed them from the web site. hth, .V ps: http://www.basebeans.net:8080/mailman/listinfo/mvc-programmers Every email from the mail list has this url at the bottom, and you can scroll to the bottom if you want out :-( Gerry Matte wrote: >Hi. >As requested below, this is to advise that I would like to be >authorised for interactive use of your website without subscribing to >your mailing lists (at this time). > >It appears that I have managed to remove my userid entirely by >unsubscribing from the default mailing list. > >Is it possible to have a userid but not subscribe to any mailing lists >? > >If not, do you have a mailing list that is very low volume so I can >still use the website ? > >Thanks > > >Gerry Matte, IT Manager, Municipality of Saanich >250-475-5403 Fax: 250-475-5411 > > >------------------------------------------------------------------------ > >BEGIN:VCARD >VERSION:2.1 >X-GWTYPE:USER >FN:Gerry Matte >TEL;WORK:475-5403 >ORG:District of Saanich;Administration >TEL;PREF;FAX:475-5411 >EMAIL;WORK;PREF;SMTP:[email protected] >N:Matte;Gerry >TITLE:Information Technology Manager >ADR;DOM;WORK;PARCEL;POSTAL:;;District of Saanich >LABEL;DOM;WORK;PARCEL;POSTAL;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Gerry Matte=0A= >District of Saanich >END:VCARD > > > --------------070901020608030703060002 Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=ISO-8859-1"> <title></title> </head> <body text="#000000" bgcolor="#ffffff"> The idea is that the mail list and newsgroups will be replaced by the online forum.<br> <br> But the online forum has bugs, so I removed everyone, added them to the mail list, and asked them to test signing up.<br> So one day there will be 0 mail!
