adding mx4j's connector class to factory list

I have no problem running a standalone mx4j instance under Tomcat 5. I specify to use mx4j by setting the system property "javax.management.builder.initial". But when I try to get a remote JMX connection under Tomcat 5, I am getting a very poorly populated factory, and I don't know how to tell it to use mx4j for the Connector. The Connector factory API spec is very poor in this regard compared to the Server side factory. Here's the error that I get: javax.servlet.ServletException: URL path must begin with /jndi/ or /stub/ or /ior/: My URL uses rmi, and I'm sure there is nothing wrong with my URL because it works for the server, and it works when I use the same URL in a standalone (non-J2EE) Java program.
