Yes, but the MBeans (to play with) are not in the war.  To add
more MBeans to play with, you add a jar to .../WEB-INF/lib or
classes to .../WEB-INF/classes, so no rebuild or redeploy of
war is needed.  Could also rebuild the jar, but IMO this setup
is most simple and modular.

I write this only for purpose of clarification, since the problem
under discussion here has already been resolved.
