According to the API JavaDoc,
javax.management.monitor.Monitor must be an abstract
class with abstract start() and stop() methods.

Jeremy, are you sure ?
These methods are already part of the class via inheritance
from the MonitorMBean. I don't want to believe the TCK is so
dumb...

the Monitor class even though it is abstract

Monitor was already abstract, only start() and stop() were not.
