Patch branch for 3.1.0-beta1 created and Maven central changed...

Hi,

I have a few small patches that I would like to roll into MX4J which I 
will detail on this list after I have committed them (so that they can 
be more easily reviewed).

To make it easier to follow this effort, I have created a branch off of 
trunk to put my changes in: 
https://mx4j.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/mx4j/branches/patches_3.1.0-beta1

The only small changes I checked into this so far were to change the 
central Maven repo defined in the pom to http://repo1.maven.org/maven2 
and I added a couple of subversion ignores for the Maven target directories.

I will try to check my patches in this weekend and will post details for 
what I am trying to add here.
