I am not sure what limitations you see, but I would guess that using
MX4J in JBoss is very difficult.
The JBoss kernel is based on JMX, and I think on many core features of
JBossMX, so using MX4J instead of JBossMX will probably break the
server, though this is a guess.

I am not sure what do you exactly mean by "deploying MX4J".
