Hi All, I am java dev, but new to JMX programming. I started developing a small jmx client application for updating mbean values that are running on a server. I wrote a mbean descriptor file and the configuration is good, running with out problem. The problem is that when I update a mbean value through the mx4j web console(HTTP Adaptor), the modified value is written back to the mbean descriptor. When I try to update the same value using my jmx-client application , the value is being modified and I am able to see the effect of the values at runtime, but the value is *not* written back in mbean descriptor. I want to persist the changes back to the descriptor. I tried searching through the mailing-lists, but not able to find a suitable answer. Any help relating to this is appreciated.
