There are plenty of projects using Nanning and I would not suggest you 
to move on. It's definitely not dead it's just that myself personally 
don't have enough time to work on it.

I haven't really found a project that does something similar. Spring has 
simple interception but not mixins (and then you also get an IoC 
container, a web framework and so on). Bob Lee seems to be working on 
some similar (dynamic proxy based) stuff but that's his personal project 
and it's not even on Sourceforge (and it's really new and not mature 
yet). And Rickard will never open-source the stuff his working on.

I want to have a go at implementing some of the stuff that Rickard has 
been talking about in his blog (some of it I don't believe at all, some 
of it is cool) but once again, I haven't had time.
