Yeah, we might switch away from commons-logging, it makes things a bit
too complicated and everybody just uses log4j anyway.

We're in the process of switching to the new CheckpointPrevayler of
Prevayler 2 which makes things much, much simpler. It will be ready for
Nanning 0.3.
