RE: question about Nanning

I have no current plans on adding a "Bank demo" although it is a very
good idea! Problem is there is no lack of good ideas, just lack of time.
If I do get some time over sometime I might try to port Prevayler Bank
demo to the Nanning framework.
The Nanning framework isn't really applied to a Prevalent application,
it's more likely applied to an existing object model. Most parts of the
system never has to know about Prevayler, things are just automagically
made persistent (through Prevayler-transactions) by ordinary
method-calls.

One other quick question.  Do you plan on adding something like a Bank
demo to the Prevayler2 CVS which uses Nanning (probably in the contrib
section, especially since the CheckPointPrevayler is not yet part of the
true core)?  I'm not so familiar with the aspect stuff.  I assume that
the sample prevayler nanning framework could be generically applied to
any prevalent application, right?  Having a standard Bank demo to
compare/contrast how nanning+prevayler differs from
plain-old-java+prevayler would be very big help in understanding how
Nanning can help my code.

Yeah, we might switch away from commons-logging, it makes things a bit
too complicated and everybody just uses log4j anyway.

We're in the process of switching to the new CheckpointPrevayler of
Prevayler 2 which makes things much, much simpler. It will be ready for
Nanning 0.3.
