Ok, I see your point. You don't feel like rewriting
the XML stuff then? I'm not sure I have the time for
it... But maybe some time if I'm bored.

What kind of performance do you need from it? I'm
thinking maybe I'll just rerun the Jelly-script for
each time an object is instantiated. That'll be
easiest and most flexible...

Oh, the new config-system is entirely in Java. So
maybe it's not for you either...

It's more flexible in the new system. Maybe if
somebody rewrites the XML config stuff we could change
that. There was a bunch of stupid optimizations in the
old system that's not really needed.
