It should certainly be possible, they promote intf/impl-separation and
things like that. So, yeah, if there was a way to plug in a factory for
services (so the microkernel doesn't instantiate the services for itself
relying on default constructors).

Actually I just talked to Paul Hammant (Avalon/AltRMI commiter) about
plugging Nanning into PicoContainer a super-small (pico) IoC-container.
It could be doable. It's hosted at codehaus.org and very, very new.
