Groovy also has some utility class(es) that allow to set properties via reflection. Might be worthwhile to check that option too.

Description:
NanoWebServlet#setPropertiesWithOgnl use HttpServletRequest#getParameter(String).
So, in case of request paramete has multiple values (ex, checkbox) only gets first value.
