NetBeans IDE 3.3.1 has been released!

The NetBeans open source project is pleased to announce the release of
NetBeans IDE version 3.3.1.

NetBeans 3.3.1 is a bug fix release of version 3.3 released in December
2001. It contains more than 550 bug fixes.

The following are just a few of the features available in NetBeans IDE:

   - new XML support available via AutoUpdate center
   - ant support (the Apache build tool)
   - integrated CVS support
   - fast editor with code completion, macros and syntax highlighting
   - compile, execute and debug with any JDK, not just the one you run
     NetBeans with
   - graphical form designer
   - support for CORBA, RMI, JNDI and JDBC
   - work in either SDI (multiple window) or MDI (single window) mode
   - Vim/XEmacs integration (extra module available from netbeans.org)
   - extra/updated modules and patches are available from the NetBeans
     AutoUpdate center

NetBeans is an open source, cross-platform IDE written in pure Java.  It
is known to run on Windows, Linux, Solaris, MacOS X, FreeBSD, OpenVMS,
HP-UX and OS/2, and should run on any platform with an implementation of
Java 2 SDK version 1.3 or later.

The whole IDE is built around a core application framework with APIs,
and features are implemented in the form of plug-in modules.  This
clean, modular architecture makes NetBeans an ideal platform for
building development tools and custom IDEs as well as many other types
