Builds:

* This week's Q-build (#200202220845) was not promoted,
because there was a serious showstopper in core.
You can see more information about the Q-build.

Contributions:

* Jemmy module got a final approval, so now open source tests
(not limited to NetBeans IDE) can use this library to test
AWT/Swing UIs. The contributed module can be found at its homepage.

* Tim and Jesse have been working hard on NetBeans book with working
title "NetBeans: The Definitive Guide". It will be published
by O'Reilly & Associates in summer 2002 and you can review the drafts
available at:
<http://www.netbeans.org/books/index.html>

Discussions:

* When running NetBeans on a single machine by several users at once
or by one user many times cause problems with assigning free ports for
various services provided by IDE, like web server, etc... The discussion
started as a question whether there is any policy for assigning free
ports when running IDE on SunRays and continued to include debugger
issues, discussion of several policies how to find a free port and how
IDE should handle a situation when one user starts it many times over
the same user directory. Look at the discussion:

* Yarda reviewed the VCS API (<http://vcscore.netbeans.org/doc/VCSAPI.html>)
and started a discussion about it:
