Beta 2 was planned on Wednesday. There was found several serious 
bugs. QA report:

Ralph Krueger had contributed a version control module that trying to
get around some 
limitations of CVS.

SPROUT - NetBeans Monthly Newsletter. First issue was published on 21st
June.

Tim Bodreau started discussion about release code names for Netbeans.
There were a lot of
suggestions: tram stops in Prague, villages from island Java, famous
North American Indian chiefs,
names of BEANS, "NEWS" edition, names of 27 Czech lords who were
executed on the 21 
June 1621 at 5am in Prague, etc. Discussions were independently in
nbdiscuss and in nbusers.
