Awaiting NetBeans 3.4.1

Maxym Mykhalchuk announced that NetBeans 3.4.1 release is planned
on 20th Jan. It will be 20th January nightly build, i.e. it will
appear on a website on 21th.

Why Another NetBeans Release ?

"On these pages I present issues which I was not able to communicate
well and push the discussion to a reasonable consensus during the time
I was given for discussions about NetBeans 4.0 Project System. The result,
as is now specified by official documents is not working well for me,
a to-be-user of that software, even in situations relatively common
in software development. All issues presented here were raised through
the development cycle, but there were not solved satisfactorily."

30 000 Issues Entered

"Well, it's not really 30,000 defects. It's 30,000 issues - which also
tracks enhancement requests, and even tasks. (Take a look at the
'projects' module - they're using issues to track implementation tasks,
etc.) Also doesn't count duplicates."
