Hi all,

At this time there have been four nominations in the first round of the
NB elections.

Vincent Brabant
Svatopluk Dedic
Maxym Mykhalchuk
David Strupl

Maxym and Svata have declined their nominations so we are left with
two candidates. In order for this process to move forward we need at
least one more candidate who accepts their nomination. So for this
reason we have extended the nomination period to Sunday December, 7.
Voting will begin as soon as we have three candidates who accept their
nominations and will continue through Monday December, 22.

Nominations and the actual voting results can be followed at,
http://www.netbeans.org/community/articles/board-2003-11.html.

***********************************************************************

Please submit your nominations for the community members you wish to be
considered for the NetBeans Governance board, by sending an e-mail with
their names to the [email protected] alias, or to
[email protected] e-mail (unlike nbdiscuss does not require you to
subscribe first).

The e-mail should contain a list of any number of names for the people
you would like to be included in the list of nominees and included in
the voting.

The DEADLINE for nominations is Sunday, December 7, midnight in the last
time zone.

Tenitive nomination & voting schedule as follows:

 > November 20 - December 7: Nomination period
 > December 8 - December 22: Two-week official polling period
 > December 23, 2003 - New Board to be announced to community
