NetBeans' Governance Board: THE ELECTION RESULTS

Hi all,

I am pleased to announce the results of the NetBeans' Governance Board
Elections that closed yesterday.

The total number of people who voted: 122 
(of which 29 voted for 1 nominee only)

The votes: 
Vincent Brabant - 69
David Strupl - 53
Rich Unger - 44
Meg Garrison - 41
Ron Browning - 8

The community representatives in the new NetBeans' Governance Board will
be Vincent and David if they accept.

Sun will appoint the third member upon return from the holidays. This
will occur during the week of January 5, 2004.

Thanks to all the people who participated in the voting, and please join
me in congratulating Vincent and David.
