Hi all, Tasklist is a project that provides a way to bring useful features into the IDE. It has the potential to enable integration of a wide range of features that support user workflow, work organization, automatic suggestions, assistance in domain areas, tutorial steps, and more. Currently, Tasklist consists of a compressed navigable interactive view of one or more source files. It briefly summarizes interesting source facts and tasks. The resulting outline lets you easily navigate to the next or previous occurrence without losing focus. It also interactively suggests instant solutions for most detected errors. Importantly, Tasklist respects the concept that the Source Editor is a first class citizen in the IDE workflow. You can give the NB tasklist concept a try in the NetBeans IDE 3.6 beta. It contains the 'To Do' view, which enables developers to track TODOs in source code. We are planning on intensive development in this area and would like to introduce many new Tasklist features in the upcoming NB releases. The purpose of this survey is to gather user feedback to help NB engineers in developing a first-class IDE product. The survey begins today, February 24, and will continue until Friday, March 5.
