of February NetBeans brought home another award adding to its already impressive collection. </p> <p>The NetBeans IDE Beta 3.6 program has been a success with great feedback being collected on mailing lists and through the NetCAT program. I would like to thank everyone who has downloaded the NetBeans 3.6 Beta and contributed feedback. The information we received will help improve the IDE and in this months interviews you will see how.</p> <p>The Tasklist survey has come to an end and with great results. There were in the neighborhood of 500 responses after one week of the survey! At a high level editor integration was the most voted for feature and the most voted for in-editor suggestions were missing import and suggestion handling.</p> <p>Other topics this month include: module catalogue additions, NetBeans in the press and in this months Cool Tip we take a look at extending the NetBeans IDE.</p> <p>For Sprout 21 we expect to announce the availability of the NetBeans IDE 3.6 as well as the complete schedule for the multilingual release and upcoming cobundles.
