All the information that you need to take part in the elections are contained and linked to from this email. Please note that due to the size of the nbannounce mailing list we will only announce the beginning of the elections and the opening of the actual voting period. This is an effort to keep the traffic as low as possible on the list while making sure everyone is informed of community activities and has the ability to get involved. If you wish to be reminded as stated in the NetBeans Election Process page (see below) you can subscribe to any of the following lists: nbdev, nbusers or nbdiscuss at http://www.netbeans.org/community/lists/top.html For reference the current nominations and the actual voting results can also be followed on the NetBeans.org website: http://www.netbeans.org/community/articles/nbelections.html *********************************************************************** At this time we are asking for you to submit your nominations for the community members you wish to be considered for the NetBeans Governance Board. Send an e-mail with your nominations to the [email protected] alias, or to [email protected] e-mail (unlike nbdiscuss does not require you to subscribe first). nbdiscuss is the preferred channel as it is more open and the traffic is relatively low. The e-mail should contain a list of any number of names for the people you would like to be included in the list of nominees and included in the actual voting. The DEADLINE for nominations is Sunday, December 5, midnight in the last time zone. *********************************************************************** The nomination & voting schedule as follows: * November 22 - December 05: Two-week nomination period * December 06 - December 19: Two-week official polling period * December 20, 2004 - New Board to be announced to community More information can be found at: NetBeans Election Process - http://www.netbeans.org/about/os/election-process.html NetBeans Governance - http://www.netbeans.org/about/os/governance.html NetBeans Board Pages - http://www.netbeans.org/about/os/who-board.html --Boundary_(ID_gGq6DGv06vjwbJftPHpkIg) Content-type: text/html; charset=us-ascii Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=ISO-8859-1"> <title></title> </head> <body text="#000000" bgcolor="#ffffff"> <tt>Hello all, <br> </tt><tt></tt><tt> <br> </tt><tt></tt><tt> </tt><tt>It's time again to elect a new NetBeans Governance Board!
