1. NetBeans Profiler Beta (Milestone 5) Released

The Profiler is an add-on to NetBeans 4.0 or 4.1 and adds a fully
featured CPU, memory and threads profiling capabilities, tightly
integrated into the IDE workflow. Visit http://profiler.netbeans.org to
download or get more information

Key features:

* Tight integration into the IDE workflow
* Low overhead profiling utilizing the JFluid technology
* Task-based approach to simplify profiling
* CPU Performance profiling
* Memory profiling & memory leak detection
* Attaching to running (deployed) application
* Threads profiling

New features in the Milestone 5 release - see complete list at
http://profiler.netbeans.org/docs/help/whatsnew-m5.html

* Remote profiling: this long-awaited feature allows you to profile
applications running on machines different from the one that runs the
Profiler.
* Greatly improved Attachment UI and Jps Technology utilization. Now
it's much easier to choose attachment method and the VM you want to attach.
* Integration Wizards for most popular Application Servers.

* Smaller improvements and a number of bugs fixed.

Enjoy,
