Can't connect to subversion repository

Hi.

I've been successfully using tortoisesvn under Windows 10 for a couple of months to access a local repository for my Netbeans php development. 

Suddenly however I find I can't access this from Netbeans when I go looking for version history - Netbeans tells me it can't connect to my repository citing an "invalid filesystem format option 'addressing logical'". But version history is still available from tortoisesvn itself so the repository is still sound. I'm very confused by this since Netbeans is surely using the same central subversion code.

I'm on the latest version of subversion (1.9.1) and Netbeans (8.0.2) tells me there are no outstanding updates.

Any suggestions for how I might fix this please?
