Maven repository problem : No result, processing index : xuggle repo

Hi, I'm new to Maven and pretty new to Netbeans too, so apologies in advance if I'm asking a stupid question.

I've had some problems recently loading Maven central due to lack of disk space - my disk was full which explained the "lack of space" notification I eventually realised I was getting! But, though I cleared that now by deleting a mass of unnecessary stuff (I've got 2.5GB free on my disk now), I'm having similar (if subtly different) difficulties with another repository. This is the xuggle repo repository on http://xuggle.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/repo/share/java. Again the repository won't load but this time there are no notifications, just an intermittently flashing message at the bottom of my screen saying that Netbeans is transferring the Maven repository for xuggle repo. 

I'm flagging this up as a Netbeans issue, as whatever problem is preventing the repository from loading, Netbeans isn't reporting it. 

My web browser can access the URL without any problems and the content looks OK to me.

Enlightenment would be very welcome.
