I'm reading this on email so I can't see the rest of the thread.

I never heard of this error, but for what I know the Netbeans SVN client
doesn't support Subversion >1.8 (or 1.9, I can't check right now). If your
repository was created with a recent SVN version you should select CLI as
the default SVN client (go to Tools->Options->Team, select the Versioning
tab, then change the value of the Preferred client field). Make sure you
installed the latest Subversion client before you do that.

Even if your repository doesn't use a recent version of Subversion you
still can try to switch client (there a 3 available) to see if it helps.
