Remove the user directory (http://wiki.netbeans.org/FaqWhatIsUserdir) 
and restart NetBeans IDE.

Also, when you write about problems with NetBeans, make sure to include 
the release number, i.e., I'm assuming you're using NetBeans IDE 8.1.
