Please add an improvement request (if it's not already there) on Bugzilla
https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/

NetBeans seems to expect a 'prefix' and filter based on that. Other tools
such as IntelliJ expect any substring and fillter a bit differently.

There may be (or we could add) a flag for this behaviour.
