Hello Netbeans Education. We have teams of students writing open source projects. A proposial that looks like being taken up is to write a specialised form driven JUnit test harness generator for teachers. The general concept is that you complete a form or series of forms describing a class and how it should be tested. An assignment description based around the class and a JUnit test script are then generated. The student takes these away and and comes back when the test script runs successfully (or when they run into problems). Alternatively the description and the script could be used for examination purposes, with marking based on how many tests are passed - self-marking! There is a more detailed description at http://cit.wta.swin.edu.au/cit/programming/softdevpack/2003TPCourse/softdev2/MajorProjects/projectlist2004_1/zz_Program_Test_Generator.html Is there any interest in this out there, or alternatively does anybody know if it has already been done? This would seem to be a good candidate for a Netbeans Module.
