Re: NetBeans on universities

Hi Roman.

We have used Netbeans for a number of years with 'polytechnic' level students.  There is a collection of links (some to our work, some to other people's) at

Some of it refers to old versions, but this will give an idea of our preoccupations.  The site is searchable for other stuff (see tab at top of page).
We may be reverting to using BlueJ for our introductory course, and move on to Netbeans in second semester

Our Serverside Programming course is predicated on Netbeans.

Hi,

we are searching for teachers on universities who are using NetBeans 
during Java classes. The reason for this is that one Czech university 
expressed interest in using NetBeans during Java courses. It would be 
very helpful for us to find out just the university names to have them 
as references. We would appreciate any input like what were the issues 
when starting to teach with NetBeans - what went well and what went not 
so well and how you managed to overcome any obstacles.
