No, what he is talking about is related to nbdiscuss Tom. The Wiki will not currently allow users to setup new accounts. I had a peek at it and setup an IZ for it..me or someone else did...and someone said...maybe Jesse Glick, that it had been disabled because of some crappy script kiddies were messing it up and setting up accounts and spamming the Wiki. People do just stink some times. Anyways, hopefully this can be resolved soon because without new folks being able to edit the Wiki it is very hard to grow the KB and even get new contributions to the community docs. Hope that cleared it up :-D, Wade ================== Wade Chandler, CCE Software Engineer and Developer, Certified Forensic Computer Examiner, NetBeans Dream Team Member, and NetBeans Board Member http://www.certified-computer-examiner.com http://wiki.netbeans.org/wiki/view/NetBeansDreamTeam http://www.netbeans.org ----- Original Message ---- From: Tom Wheeler <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Monday, January 7, 2008 11:06:00 AM Subject: Re: [nbdiscuss] On 1/7/08, Rajath Shanbag <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello everybody, > This is Rajath Shanbag.I have been facing a problem > while trying to logon to Wiki site of Netbeans whose link is given below > http://wiki.netbeans.org/wiki/Login.jsp > As it is very urgent and needy it would have been a great help if somebody > could fix the problem. It has been a serious issue for so many days. > Please help us out. You didn't say what problem you had, but I am able to log in just fine. If you've lost or forgotten your password, try here: http://wiki.netbeans.org/wiki/LostPassword.jsp I hope that helps you, but note that this is not the appropriate list for these problems.
