whats wrong with the download file for Windows?

Hello,
I am trying to download the latest version of Netbeans from
Netbeans.org<http://netbeans.org/>for a windows PC but the file that I
seem to download regardless of the
machine (or the version of Netbeans) I am on is one with no executable
extension to it. Is there a glitch on the download page on the netbeans.orgsite?
